Sandra began quilting in 2004, and making and sewing has been part of her entire life. She comes from an American Midwest family of DIY'ers. A family that knows how to make or fix a little bit of everything. Sandra desired a creative outlet, but a safe job as an auditor in public accounting was her first step out of collage. She pursued audit for the next 15 years, until she became a mom. Priorities shifted and suddenly she could mix her skills and talents from her corporate career with her passion of design and handmade. Make It Blossom was born and is the label for Sandra's individual quilting and sewing patterns.


She authored the books, Scrap Patchwork and Simple Patchwork. Her quilts have been featured in over 25 quilting and sewing magazines. She blogs and shares free tutorials. She resides in Colorado with her daughter and husband.
